Rocky is back with us. Sadly his human passed away and he had no one. Below are comments from before he was adopted in 2009. He is house trained and still very much timid of people. Rocky is pretty much ok with other dogs but he will growl and snap at times when they are in his space. He doesn't like to share his bed.
Rocky was used to a doggie door and a fenced yard. He does not come when he is called. He seems to be looking for his human and will walk the length of the fence. We were told that he could jump a 3 ft fence and often did to escape. Rocky needs supervision when outside.
As much as his foster family loves having him around he really needs a home of his own to be spoiled.
He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped.
The first picture is of Rocky currently and the others are from 2009
7/09 Rocky is timid with fast movement and loud noises. He has a very sweet spirit and loving eyes. He likes kids and enjoys following them at a distance to see what they are doing inside and outside. He likes to be in the same room as his people and will bark if not able to get to them. He is wearing a bellyband so he doesn't mark in the house. He is working on housetraining. he doesn't like his harmess and leash when you take him out, so still working on walking with it on.
July 2 Rocky is a sweet little timid guy but with some time will make the best companion for just about anyone. He is beautiful and will receive a trim to make him even look better. He was a hit at the vets today.
