It is very hard to give another update in little Poncho, he has been in foster care for years now. What else do I say about this sweet boy. He will need a patient person when he first gets to your home, but I feel he will adjust quickly. You would need to put up with some snapping at first but he is well worth it. He will be going to another foster person's home for her to watch and so he can get his dental, we will know more then on how he will act out of his current foster home. Poncho has only known our home and he is a typical Chi when it comes to strangers. We will update after his dental.
Poncho has been in foster care for several years and now needs a dental which we all know are pretty expensive.

Please read Poncho's entire bio. Must have Chihuahua experience, which means must of had more then one Chihuahua. Must have had multiple Chi's in their life. He does very well with other little male dogs, loves to play. Fenced in yard a must, he has never been on a leash.

Please read Poncho's entire bio. He is a cute little guy who loves to run and play with the other young male dogs in the house. He also likes to play with toys. He is still kinda a pig in his crate, will potty in it at night. he does wear a bellyband in the house for marking but it is usually dry. He is used to a fenced in yard. He is still not good with strangers and will bite/snap if a stranger tries to touch him. he is very submissive with his foster family and will roll on his back when we go to pick him up. he is a quiet guy, rarely barks, and knows when it is night time to go to bed in his crate. not good with kids.

Poncho is still in foster care, he has been in foster care since he was approx. 9 months old. Ponch is still here, still waiting for that special someone to come along and give him a chance. He is a good boy who loves to play so would have to have a little buddy to play with.
5/09 Poncho still does not do well with strangers and will growl and snap with people he doesn't know. Looking for a home with someone willing to be patient with him, once he gets to know you he would make a great companion. He does great with us, is a great little lap dog. Not good with children. Loves all the other dogs, his biggest buddy is Bandit, they run and play for hours. He wears a bellyband (male diaper) in the house for marking issues. Doesn't always keep his crate clean. Is used to a fenced in yard, so that is a must. Been in foster care for a longtime, was just 9 months old when he came into rescue, so has been in his current foster home for over 2 yrs.
9/23/08 Poncho is a real sweetheart with us, he would be a great little companion for someone once he trusts you.
7/18/08 Poncho is a real loving boy once he knows you. He still is bad with strangers and will nip and growl if a stranger trys to touch him. He is fine with us and loves to play with all the other dogs and loves to play with toys. He needs a Chihuahua experienced person, once you would get past the first few days with him he would be a great companion. He loves to sit on your lap and loves to run full speed outside in the fenced in area with all his other buddies, Bandit being his best Bud. His bellyband is mostly dry when he is loose in the house, is put on just in case. He still poops in his crate once in awhile but mostly does his buisness outside or on the paper.
