Dalton needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

We strongly recommend you take a few moments to view a video made by our rescue friends at Retriever Rescue of Colorado. We invited everyone to consider the video's factors when thinking adding a pet to their family!

Breaking news !!!!!  Dalton  bounced and stomped at one of the other foster dogs to play.  It was so cute. He jumped up in the air all excited when his foster mom came home the other day too.

February 26

Dalton is still waiting for that special someone to find him.  He is a very mellow boy and his house manners are improving so much.  His foster mom thinks that if he was in a home without Henry whom she is also fostering he would not need to wear a belly band. He sleeps on a blanket in front of the register since he just gets too anixous in a crate.  Dalton is such a good boy.  He will follow his foster mom around when he can just to be near her. He seems to like older children but has't really been around little ones so we would not recommend that.  As long as Dalton has been with us he still has not even picked up a toy to play with.

Dalton is a sweetie pie.  He's great with other dogs, kids, men.  Not sure about cats because his foster family does not have any.  He is crate trained and doing really well with housetraining.  His foster mom still uses a belly band for him since she is fostering a few other males and he sometimes forgets his manners.
Dalton follows his foster mom around the house and at times wants nothing more than to be a lap dog.  He would be a perfect companion for these long winter nights we are all dreading.

A fenced yard s required for this little guy so that he can continue to run and explore everything without being restricted on a leash.  He would run away if given the chance only because he is so curious about everything around.

Dalton is new to us so we will post more about him soon.  He was a breeder release to a vet clinic.  Sweet old man who seems to like just about anyone that he meets.  His foster family thinks he is adorable.   Dalton likes to be with people and where everything is going on.

He has been neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and on prevention as well as had a dental cleaning.
