February 15th Smoosh is back up for adoption. Please read and understand that we will NOT make any exceptions. She needs a securely fenced yard, someone that is not gone longer than a 4-5 hour workday. She needs to be crated or contained while you are not home. She gets bored when alone and will get into things looking for people. Smoosh is in a foster home that does not work. This is what she is used to. She was from a puppymill - with dogs 24/7 and now wants people not the company of other dogs. Yes, she likes them and will play with them but people are her main priority now. Smoosh will only be adopted to someone within the state of Ohio. No execptions on that either. We are very protective of her right now and want only what is best for her.
Dec We received her paperwork for her vetting minus having a heartworm test which we will get her into the vets for. Smooshie is just too cute for words. She is a little slow with housetraining so her family will have to work with this with her. Noises make her bark - the TV, sirens, toys. She will stand and bark at a toy which to some can get annoying. Not sure if she things it's going to sqeak on it's own or what. Smoosh loves everyone though and her foster family doesn't mind these things at all. She's a snuggler and very playful. She is starting to mouth things including hands which her foster family is working with her to stop. Steps are another thing she needs work with. She will go up but no down them but we are working on that as well. November 29 We are still waiting on her paperwork to come in so that we have proof that this little girl is up to date and spayed. She will not be adopted until we either have her paperwork or we take her into our vets to have all the vaccinations and testing done again.
11/13/09 Oh what a spaz this little girl is. She is just so much fun to be around. Loves everyone and wants nothing more than attention from whoever will love her. She races around the house trying to find someone that will play with her. Her feet sadly are slayed like a duck from living on wires all her life but that doesn't stop her at all. She snorts, snores, grunts and howls with joy that she has her freedom to run and play like she never has had before. We feel that she would be most happy with a home with a fenced yard so that she can continue to run around in.

This little girl just came to us on Thursday. We are still learning about her and will post updates soon. She has already been spayed, hw tested, vaccinated, wormed and had a dental cleaning. She's a little sad looking in her picture from her road trip to us. Since she was just spayed we didn't want to pull her out of her travel crate to take her picture. Once she is healed up from her surgery she will be heading up to MI to her new foster home
New picture will be posted soon
