Beauty will be able to be spayed and have her hernia repaired around October 12th. We are taking applications for this sweet girl now so that she will have a loving home ready for her.
We are looking at a pretty big veterinary bill to make Beauty healthy again so we are asking for your help. Her estimated bill is $262.00 to $380.00. We won't know an exact amount of the hernia repair or dental until he gets in there and sees what's going on.
If you can help with even $5.00 it's that much closer to our goal.
Beauty sends kisses to everyone that can help her become healthy and ready for a new permanent home of her own.
This sweet girl did double duty. First she nursed her two unexpected babies then we had a litter of 3 poodle puppies that were rejected by their mom. Beauty took those little ones in like they were her own.
July 11 Well what a surprise we had this morning. Beauty who we all thought was just chunky delivered two baby boys this morning. The vet was even shocked when we called him this morning. All doing great so far. She's really pretty protective of them.
July 2 Beauty was told today at the vets that she needs to lose some weight. She's pretty chunky right now. But she's on some good food without all the grains and garbage that she was probably fed before and getting some exercise so should be a trim little girl soon. Beauty loves everyone and ready to please. She is vocal when she wants your attention and does this "woo woo" to make sure you hear her. She is such a sweet girl and will make someone a great companion to hang around with when the weather starts getting cold this winter.
June 9,2009 Beauty is a sweet Pap who was purchased at a dog auction by another rescuer and didn't have a place to go so we took her in. She's AKC and has been used as a breeder all her life. She has a HUGE umbilical hernia that will be repaired when she is spayed. Can you imagine all those puppies that she produced since this is hereditary. She sits up when she wants attention. Beauty is a climber so caution would need to be taken to keep her out of trouble. She just wants to be with people and will do whatever she can to be with them.
She will need a fenced yard so that she can run and enjoy her freedom. She will scale a fence faster than you can say boo so it should be at least 6 ft.
