8/10 I can't believe Chuy will be 2 yrs old, he came into foster care at 6 months old. He is another one who has been in foster care for a longtime. He is a special needs boy so make sure you read his ENTIRE bio. He is great pals with Poppy and they play alot together. Chuy is a sweet, submissive boy at his foster home but it wasn't always like that. He was terrified when he came here and did snap and bite when we tried to touch him. He has come along way and would need an experienced Chihuahua person with another friendly male Chi for him to buddy around with. Chuy does NOT like to go outside and is very scared ouside even when he is out with other Chi's, he uses peepads. Not sure why is scared outside but he is. Very easily spooked, must have a fenced in yard.
3/10 Please make sure you read Chuy's entire bio written about him. He is a special Chi who still has some issues and will only be adopted to someone who has had alot of Chihuahua experience. That means has had MULTIPLE Chihuahua's in their home.
12/09 Please make sure you read Chuy's entire bio. Chuy is doing well in foster care, he is getting along with all the other dogs. His buddy is Poppy and they spend hours playing together. He loves to lay on the couch next to you and more now that it is getting cold. He does not like going outside, and hates it even more now that it is getting cold. He uses peepads in the house. He is not friends with everyone here, he does not like my Dad and will bark at him when he comes into his space. he has grown alot since coming here and will eat just about everything. He sleeps and eats in a crate. He will greet me with hugs and kisses when I come home from being out of the house. He is a gorgeous boy with really unique markings and colors. Must be within a few hours drive to adopt Chuy.

7/09 Chuy is 9 months old, he is doing so much better then when he came into fostercare. He has adjusted well and gets along with all the dogs and has made some great friends here. He is very loving towards me and gives me kisses all the time. I went away for a few days and when I came home he would not leave me alone, all over me showering me with Kisses. He has turned into a little gentleman. He still will need a home with a Chihuahua experienced person though , because he will not be a nice boy when he first goes to a new home. He will need patience and understanding to overcome his fear of new people and new things.
6/1/09 Chuy, we also call him TuTu is a very handsome 8 month old Chihuahua male. His owner released him to rescue because little Chuy has or should say had quite an attitude. He had times when he was very loving and times where he would bite. The first week in his foster home was not pleasant, he was very upset and was in a large x-pen in the familyroom because no one could touch him, he would bite. I kept telling him he could not come out to play with all the other Chihuahua until he let me pick him up. I had to use a towel placed over him to pick him up the first few times. He has been in foster care for about a month now and his whole attitude has changed. I have had no problems with him biting, is kinda possessive of toys, but all I have to tell him is cut it out and he stops. He is a very handsome boy, goes outside to potty and also uses peepads. Sleeps in a crate at night. He enjoys playing with the other young Chihuahua's in the house, will lay next to you while you watch TV. Is NOT good with children, and is a very nervous boy. He can only be adopted by someone with Chihuahua experience, someone that can be a pack leader, someone with another young Chihuahua for him to play with. He loves to play with DavieJones who is also up for adoption. He walks well on a leash and is used to a fenced in yard. He is neutered, UTD on rabies and vaccine. We are looking for a special home for Chuy, will be very picky because he is not a dog for just anyone, with his strong personality he will need someone not afraid to be the boss and not afraid of his attitude.
Adoption $200
